To apply to the Six-Week Intensive, complete the form below and send us under separate cover an email with a headshot or recent photo of yourself and your resume, if you have one.  If you have a reel, include the link in your personal essay.  While a resume and reel are not required, we will take a look at them. Please send all materials to wendy@wardstudio.com.  We may also ask for an in-person or online interview, depending upon where you are located.

Tips for writing your personal essay:  We don't respond well to generic statements that are a chronological summary of everything you've done since you played a tree in elementary school.  (We can read your resume for that.)  We're interested in you and what the journey has been that brought you to us.  So give some thought about how you can describe your experience while giving us insight into who you are specifically as an actor.  If you write two or three sentences, you are not likely to be considered.

If you're using a generic essay that you've written for other schools or if your statement is overly academic, you are unlikely to be selected for our program. Read the notes above for a better conclusion!
